To have the feel and reliability of shifting gears in a real car it is important to have the solid feel you get with
a real car. You may have the best most solidly engineered shifter available, but its feel will be compromised
if your desk or mount is not a solid and secure mounting point.
Not only is the Racecraft shifter mount very solid and secure, it is also fully steplessly adjustable for height
reach and even lateral positioning. So you should be able to exactly match the the actual position of your real car
shifter, in relation to your seat wheel and pedals.
 
The shifter can be fitted to either left or right of the seat.

The whole shifter unit will pivot upwards to allow easy access to the cockpit, then you simply drop it back to its
operating position when you are ready to drive.
This is particularly useful if the chassis has access from one side only.

Note: You will require a Head bracket to fit the shifter to the chassis, there are several different types
depending on your requirements
