A "Head Bracket" is an essential part needed to fit a keyboard or shifter mount with a driving setup, - or to fit a HOTAS
controller or keyboard mount with a flight setup.
Different head brackets allow you to place the controls in the basic configuration that you require or prefer.

You would normally fit the head bracket to the Racecraft chassis, and then fit your control mount to the
head bracket and then fine adjust the controller for the best ergonomic/realistic
position.
Once you have everything correctly positioned the mounts can then be locked in place, your controls will then feel as
secure and solid as real controls do.

A head bracket is subject to severe tortional and crushing forces in use and is therefore made from much stiffer
thicker wall tubing than the rest of the chassis.

Please select your head bracket carefully as it will dictate the general layout of your controls.

All head brackets can be used left or right handed - for example, a KST756 will allow you to fit a shifter and
keyboard mount to the left or right of the seat - but not both on the same side. -
To fit both shifter and keyboard mounts both on the same side of the seat, you will need a KSU667

Use this head bracket when you wish to fit HOTAS flight controls with your keyboard to one
side of the chassis.
This will leave the dash area clear for other uses or you can leave a steering wheel in place.
